Catherine MacDonald grew up in a small mining community in northwestern Ontario. She completed her BFA Honors at the University of Manitoba in 1996. She works independently across many disciplines with a slight preference for drawing and sculpture. Her current investigations explore inner landscapes and personal narratives.
